LekkerParkeren was created out of a desire to offer something extra to drivers and help them save on parking costs. We do this not only by being the most affordable and user-friendly parking app but also by offering fun savings promotions.

With the LekkerParkeren app, you can effortlessly start and stop a parking session anywhere in the Netherlands (www.lekkerparkeren.nl/nl/locations). On the map, you can quickly see which street is the cheapest to park on. You can also choose whether you want to pay for your parking in advance or afterwards.

All you need to use LekkerParkeren is the LekkerParkeren app and a LekkerParkeren account.

You can download the LekkerParkeren app for free in the App Store (iPhone) and in the Google Play Store (Android).
Specifications:

  • iPhone app: from iOS 6.1 and higher.
  • Android app: from version 2.1 and higher.

In addition to the regular parking fees, you pay a transaction fee per parking session, depending on the chosen package:

  • Lekker Makkelijk – pay €0.29 per parking session.
  • Lekker Voordelig – pay €1.99 per month (ideal if you park often).

If you start a parking session and parking is free, you pay no transaction fees. Adding license plates and receiving parking reminders are free of charge!

Are you self-employed or do you have a sole proprietorship? Then it’s definitely possible!

When you start a parking session with the LekkerParkeren app, it is registered in the Nationaal Parkeerregister (NPR). This national system records parking and stay rights. The parking attendant consults the NPR to check whether the parked car has paid the appropriate parking fee.

That’s unfortunate! Unfortunately, we cannot reverse a parking session that ended too late, because it has already been registered in the Nationaal Parkeerregister (NPR) and parking fees have been charged.
However, we can help you avoid this happening again in the future. Set an automatic end time and activate the free reminder notifications, or make use of the Departure Reminder (Wegrij-herinnering).

Did you press the stop button and the parking session did not stop? Take a screenshot and send it to info@lekkerparkeren.nl.
Always check your activity overview to see if the parking session has already stopped. If necessary, try closing the app completely (including the background) and restarting it.

Unfortunately, we cannot modify parking sessions afterwards, because they are immediately registered in the Nationaal Parkeerregister (NPR).
If you received a fine, we recommend filing an objection. Use your parking session booking as evidence, which often results in a successful appeal.

Unfortunately, it’s not yet possible to use the LekkerParkeren app in countries other than the Netherlands.

No, that’s not currently possible. As soon as this feature becomes available, we will announce it.

No, we never charge any fees for free parking.
Our parking times and rates are based on the Nationaal Parkeerregister, managed by the RDW, ensuring they always match the applicable street times.
We aim to make your parking experience as simple and transparent as possible! Therefore, press the information button in the app for an overview of the parking times in the relevant zone.

We see that the municipality has determined that in the relevant zone you can only park with a day pass.
Unfortunately, we cannot correct this afterwards, as your parking session is immediately registered with the Nationaal Parkeerregister (NPR) for collecting parking fees. We only collect parking fees on behalf of the municipality.
In zones where a daily rate applies, we always provide a warning in advance.

Yes, you can! After registering your account, you can add multiple license plates to your account. This allows multiple cars to be parked at the same time. LekkerParkeren does not charge extra for adding a license plate.

There are various reasons why a parking session might end automatically:

  • The zone may only allow parking for a maximum number of hours.
  • With the LekkerParkeren app, you can park for a maximum of 10 hours at a time. If you want to park longer, you can easily set an automatic end time (up to a maximum of 24 hours).

We always clearly display a warning in the app if the session ends automatically.

There are several possible reasons why you might have received a fine, such as an incorrect license plate or an incorrect zone. Always check whether you selected the correct license plate and whether you’re parked in the correct zone.
Did you accidentally park with the wrong license plate? This is not a valid reason for a fine, so feel free to file an objection.
If the zone and license plate are correct, always check whether the date and time on the fine are correct. If they match your parking receipt, use that as evidence when disputing the fine.

Log in with the email address you registered with. Not working? Request a reset code, which we will send to your registered email address. Didn’t receive a code? Check your spam folder or contact us at info@lekkerparkeren.nl.

Yes, since January 2025, the LekkerParkeren app has been updated. This makes LekkerParkeren the first app that allows you to choose whether you want to pay upfront per parking session (by topping up your balance with iDEAL) or opt for monthly payments for parking sessions (via direct debit).

If you can’t enable direct debit via Riverty, please send an email to info@lekkerparkeren.nl.

The Lekker Voordelig package is only beneficial if you park frequently. If you rarely park, the “Lekker Makkelijk” package has no costs if you do not park.

You can easily change your subscription in the app by going to:

  1. Settings
  2. Financial
  3. Subscription
  4. Select “change” to choose the right package for the following month

If you don’t want to pay a fixed monthly fee, you don’t need to cancel! You only have fixed costs with the Lekker Voordelig package. Switch your package in the app to Lekker Makkelijk and pay only €0.29 per parking session if you park.

  4. Type in “Delete account”
  5. Delete account

That’s correct. Send us an email at info@lekkerparkeren.nl and we’ll send you an invoice with your old parking sessions.

To ensure that we link the correct bank account number to your LekkerParkeren account, we verify your IBAN by charging a €0.01 fee via iDEAL. This prevents fraud with bank account numbers. The €0.01 is paid directly to the IBAN verification provider Riverty.

LekkerParkeren offers the unique possibility of paying for parking sessions both in advance (by Topping Up) and afterwards (via direct debit).

Then you can easily add money to your Wallet. When you start a parking session, you immediately indicate how long you want to park, so you can see the costs right away. If you end the parking session earlier, the time you parked is automatically deducted from your Wallet. Standard iDEAL transaction fees apply when topping up your Wallet.

Your parking costs will be collected all at once by our payment partner Riverty at the beginning of the new month. All fees from the previous month are then added up and withdrawn.

For questions about parking sessions, costs on your invoice, changing payment details, or other information, you can always contact our customer service at info@lekkerparkeren.nl.

If you chose direct debit via Riverty as your payment method, your parking costs will be collected all at once at the beginning of the new month by our payment partner Riverty. All costs from the previous month are then added up and withdrawn.

Invoices from before January 2025 can be requested by sending an email to info@lekkerparkeren.nl. The invoice for December 2024 can be found in your email.
Riverty sends an invoice notification at the beginning of the new month.

If the direct debit was unsuccessful, you will receive a payment reminder from Riverty. This reminder contains a payment link to pay the outstanding amount, as well as information on how to complete the payment manually via bank transfer.

It is currently not possible to have the money in your Wallet automatically refunded via the app. In this case, please contact us at info@lekkerparkeren.nl and we will assist you further.

Are you currently topping up your Wallet to pay for parking? Follow the steps below in the app to activate direct debit with your bank account:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Choose Financial
  3. Select Bank details
  4. Click on Add bank account and pay the €0.01 via Riverty to activate direct debit.

Would you rather pay with your Wallet instead of direct debit? Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Choose Financial
  3. Select Wallet
  4. Click on ‘Top up’ and add the amount you want to have in your Wallet.
  5. Then go to Bank details to remove your bank account.

If you do not remove your bank details, when your Wallet balance runs out, the parking session may still be charged via direct debit.
